Kapit Adventure Tours successfully organizes whitewater rafting recce

For those into whitewater rafting, Batang Belaga contains rapids that are between Grade 4 and 5. This conclusion was reached by a recent whitewater rafting expedition organised by Kapit Adventure Tours. Led by New Zealander Simon Kingston, the group of seven explored the rapids along the Belaga River, which is found off the Rajang River.

To get to these rapids involves a journey from Sibu to Kapit and then on to the Belaga River. Longboats are available to tow you past the milder currents and into the wild rapids.
